Regulation of air fares
According to the resolution of 2013, of the Civil Aviation Directorate, some important points are determined that we share and are relevant to take into consideration the process of loading.
Art. 3.- Tariff for air cargo transportation is understood as the price charged for
kilogram, or by volume.
Additional amounts: are those corresponding to security charges and charges of
fuel, and the conditions that govern its availability and use.
The user must know the total value, between a point of the national territory and a point
abroad; as well as between two or more points within the Ecuadorian territory.
In the international service, the minimum, normal rates and those that govern
shipments of less than 100 kilograms, preferably those published in the
TACTs – (Air Cargo Rates) of the International Transporters Association
Aerial (IATA), valid at the time of the cut of the air waybill.
Art. 4.- All freight rates in regular and non-regular air transport service
(fixed time), combined international service, combined load and express load,
must be registered in Air Transport of the DGAC in the first five (5) days
of each month, according to Annex No.1.
